I’m unhappy with the audio quality of this release, but I am working on it. The equipment is all in place, so it solely falls in the hands of the producer. Unfortunately, I’m the producer. Thirteen months and twenty-six days after “The Last Supper” was released, or exactly one year to the day I arrived in Houston — we have a brand new “annual update” for the few remaining people that still want to hear our voices. This is a nostalgic episode full of talk about our lives, and reminiscing about the old show. This site was much easier to update when I was miserable. I have always found I’m at my (comedic) best when I’m angry and depressed, and lately I’ve had nothing to be upset about. Life is drama-free and pretty good at the moment. I’d tell you more, but not in this boring-ass text format. I also have a very short attention span, and despite its lameness Twitter has fulfilled my need for quick random posts.

The Internet is all about social networking and video now, which is why I think I’m going to start releasing audio on this site. I did a little test record with a friend of mine tonight, and I may do one more in a few hours. I’m a finicky bitch, and more critical of my creative works than I should be, but if I can stomach the results, I’ll post them soon.

For the time being, I will be referring to this site simply as POMP.us. Stay tuned. I still have lots to share with the Internets…

I noticed a lot of hits for our The Crow Harasscast — which is awesome, but equally as awesome are the two other Harasscasts you don’t know about (because POMP did not star in them!).

In the Harass Bastards Episode 1 we took on Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Kahn. For some reason people think this is a good movie. We beg to differ… this is the first official Harasscast. Star Trek fans clicking on this link will most likely have their heads explode and out will fly little Klingon words or something. Remember kids, Star Trek — THE FUTURE – in OVALVISION!!!

The newest Harass Bastards Episode is #3 .. and it is the fine feature film MORTAL KOMBAT that gets our drunken onslaught. Even the dumbest, most hardened lover of all things Mortal Kombat will admit that not only are the video games terrible since MK2, but this film is even worse. You will see where George Lucas got the idea for Qui Gon Jin when you see an old white dude named Raiden strut around in a funny hat and turn into electricity and talk a lot and not kick any ass. You will see Johnny Cage pack like a woman on a trip to Beverly Hills, and whine even more! There will be a Hair vs. Hair battle between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung.

Do not hesitate… go get more Harass Bastards goodness.

The Harass Bastards is basically a riff track in the vain of MST3K. Each week RaYzor, and two other gentlemen named Ortega and Sideswipe record an audio commentary for a different shitty movie. I appear on Episode 3, and we riffed the 1994 Brandon Lee abomination: The Crow.

My (ex) wife changed me, Denver changed me, Hate the Radio changed me, Syracuse changed me, and so did this latest move to Houston. I’m undecided on whether these changes were good or bad, or both. But I do know I’ve always had a need to express myself, and this is my latest attempt at just that.

I’ve always been an emotionally withdrawn person. I’ve been called “morose” and “socially inept” and the people that have said these things about me have been mostly right. Today for the first time in my adult life I went to a therapist. I tried to be as real and honest as possible … and me being me, I recorded the entire session for public consumption.
