The Overnightscape #696

Frank Edward Nora “rambles” about me recording my therapy sessions in episode #696 of his talk show The Overnightscape. He calls POMP sessions “very compelling listening” and he also gives a nice plug to The Harass Bastards — and I love plugs almost as much as I love crazy bitches. If you’re interested, it’s towards the end of his show and you can listen to it here.

If you haven’t heard POMP sessions yet, it’s still available from the sidebar of this blog. I recorded all three and released them online. I have no plans of continuing therapy, but if I ever go back, I will probably release those too.

And finally, if you haven’t heard The Harass Bastards, you can listen to me “freak out” Ortega and Sideswipe, on the HarassCast we did for the movie The Crow. I hold the distinguished honor of being the first ever “bleep” on a show they promote on the RiffTrax forums with the following line:

“Did you ever want to hear a bunch of immature, offensive drunk guys watch a movie and crack wise? Do you have an hour and half to waste? Well, your wish is granted.”

So download The Crow Harass Bastards.mp3 and try to guess what I said. Here’s a *hint* … it involves a man’s bulbourethral glands.

UPDATE! If you’re a fan of Web 0.2, and by that I mean websites that can be viewed in a text-only Web browser like Lynx — then dust off that old 486 and head over to the newly created www.harassbastards.com. No fancy AJAX here, just good old-fashioned HTML that will load instantly and have you convinced it’s 1995 all over again.

The Harass Bastards

Last week I was a guest on The Harass Bastards. A new show featuring RaYzor of Hate the Radio and Zadoc…and the Nightmare fame.

The Harass Bastards is basically a riff track in the vain of MST3K. Each week RaYzor, and two other gentlemen named Ortega and Sideswipe record an audio commentary for a different shitty movie. I appear on Episode 3, and we riffed the 1994 Brandon Lee abomination: The Crow.

If you’re interested, all you have to do is download The Crow Harass Bastards.mp3 from divShare.com and listen to it in sync with the movie.

This was my first time … so please be gentle. If you like it (and they invite me back) I will do more.
