Sensationalist title aside, I apologize for the lack of updates and myriad of Jon Lajoie videos…but honestly, blogging sucks. What the fuck is up with people hitting this site every day? I think it’s obvious I don’t blog anymore. It hasn’t been my medium of choice since I started doing Hate the Radio in 2005. I’m kind of done with it. Please stop checking in so often. I make no money from this site, and I don’t need the hits.

Check in once a week, once a month, or never again. But damn, if you’re that starved for entertainment this isn’t the place for you. If you want to know what’s up with me, just ask.

This site was much easier to update when I was miserable. I have always found I’m at my (comedic) best when I’m angry and depressed, and lately I’ve had nothing to be upset about. Life is drama-free and pretty good at the moment. I’d tell you more, but not in this boring-ass text format. I also have a very short attention span, and despite its lameness Twitter has fulfilled my need for quick random posts.

The Internet is all about social networking and video now, which is why I think I’m going to start releasing audio on this site. I did a little test record with a friend of mine tonight, and I may do one more in a few hours. I’m a finicky bitch, and more critical of my creative works than I should be, but if I can stomach the results, I’ll post them soon.

For the time being, I will be referring to this site simply as POMP.us. Stay tuned. I still have lots to share with the Internets…
